In May the current parish councillors on MEPC all stand down and elections are held on the 4th May to fill all the seats.
Below is a blank copy of the nomination pack, an annotated nomination pack and a copy of the Declaration of Expenses forms.
Nominations forms must be delivered by hand to the Returning Officer at Bedford Borough Council, Borough Hall, Bedford between the hours of 10am and 4pm Monday – Friday. Please make an appointment by emailing nominations23@bedford.gov.uk
The dates to submit nomination papers are from Tuesday 21st March until 4pm on Tuesday 4th April.
Declaration of Expenses forms are to be returned by all candidates, even if it’s a NIL return, no later than Friday 3rd June 2023. Failure to return the Declaration of Expenses can exclude councillors from voting at any parish meetings they attend.
