From tomorrow (2nd March) a local shepherd called Chris Hunt will be grazing his sheep in the fields marked below in red on the map.
While the sheep are in situ (approximately 6 weeks), there will be no permitted walking access to this area, however as there are no public rights of way across this area, this shouldn’t be a problem.
To clarify where this area is and to avoid potential problems with loose dogs worrying the sheep, Chris will be putting up polite signs.
The sheep are grazing the area as part of our Countryside Stewardship Scheme, with the aim of improving the range of plant species on the grassland along the banks of the River Great Ouse.
